How to solve ZoomText 10.1 certificate issue

Problem:

The digital certificate in newer versions of ZoomText and Window-Eyes software products has been compromised and will be revoked on or around 26 January 2017. Shortly after this date, users who have not updated these software products will begin to experience startup failures and error messages.

Solutions:

  1. Start ZoomText. The ZoomText Update Wizard should come up shortly and offer you to check for updates. You should then be offered to download and install the latest version 10.11.7. Please proceed with the update.
  2. You can also manually check for the update from within ZoomText. In the Help menu, choose Check for Program Updates. Follow the ZoomText Update Wizard to download and install the latest version 10.11.7. Please proceed with the update.
  3. If ZoomText is not running, you can download the latest version 10.11.7 and install it. You can find it here Download ZoomText 10.11.7.

Please make sure to install and run ZoomText 10.11.7 as soon as possible. You can check the version of your ZoomText from the Help menu, About ZoomText dialog box.
