What is The GodiZa Drive?
The GodiZa Drive is a collaborative project between Sensory Solutions (Pty) Ltd and Ai Squared to make ZoomText Screen Magnification software available to Low Vision computer users in Southern Africa. Additionally, the GodiZa Drive is also the physical USB Flash Drive containing ZoomText 9.1 Magnifier/Reader - the latest version of this flagship Screen Magnification Software. The GodiZa Drive Pilot Project targets Low Vision computer users in South Africa, Swaziland, Lesotho, Botswana, Namibia and Zimbabwe, with the specific aim of addressing the challenges of the most financially needy.
Why GodiZa?
The concept of growth, in almost any form, can be described by using the Sesotho word, godisa. In this way, the processes of growing, such as when a young child develops into a mature adult, or an idea coming to fruition, can each be described by “godisa”. Taking the meaning further, one can also imagine the magnification (or growing bigger) of words and information on the computer screen. As the world’s leading Screen Magnification Software product, ZoomText is the technological catalyst for godisa, not only for magnifying computer information, but also developing people. “Z” of course stands for ZoomText.

Sensory Solutions (Pty) Ltd is the Preferred Dealer for AI Squared in Southern Africa. Its distribution network consists of a Head Office in Pretoria, a regional office in Cape Town and various Resellers throughout South Africa, servicing Southern Africa as a region. The Drive The GodiZa Drive ZoomText Magnifier/Reader is a dedicated Screen Magnification Software solution, distributed around the globe and considered to be used by more Low Vision computer users than any other single product. Now also available in the ultra-portable USB Flash Drive version, users have the added option of moving between different computers with a single license. The GodiZa Drive utilises ZoomText Magnifier/Reader (V 9.1) and is packaged on a brightly coloured USB Flash Drive which identifies it as The GodiZa Drive.
